UF Pediatrics Heart Screening

In case you hadn’t heard, there’s a new Florida law that requires teens to get an EKG for their freshman year or first year in high school athletics. UF Pediatrics at Tioga is offering EKS’s for just $20 for students ages 10-25, this Thursday, August 20th, from 4-7pm. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death in student athletes and in the school system, most of which can be prevented.
