DESCRIPTION:In case you hadn’t heard\, there’s a new Florida law that requires teens to get an EKG for their freshman year or first year in high school athletics. UF Pediatrics at Tioga is offering EKS’s for just $20 for students ages 10-25\, this Thursday\, August 20th\, from 4-7pm. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death in student athletes and in the school system\, most of which can be prevented.
