Tom Walker Half Marathon and 5K Trail Race

Run the Tom Walker Half Marathon and 5K along the scenic Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail, a paved route surrounded by North Florida’s natural landscape. Both races begin and end at First Magnitude Brewing Company in Gainesville, offering runners a chance to enjoy one of the area’s popular recreational trails. Half-marathon finishers receive custom finisher medals, and participants who register by midnight October 17 are guaranteed a long-sleeve event shirt. Whether tackling the 13.1-mile half marathon or the shorter 5K distance, runners can enjoy a race through Gainesville’s outdoor scenery.
