International Judo Competition and LA 2028 Olympic Qualifier, October 28 – November 1

Watch more than 400 judo athletes from over 40 countries compete in Gainesville during four days of international competition, including the Panamerican Open Florida 2026, an official qualifier for the LA 2028 Olympic Games. The action begins October 28 with the Panamerican Cadet Cup for athletes under 18, followed by the Junior Cup on October 29. The Panamerican Open takes place October 31 and November 1, with competitors earning valuable world ranking points toward Olympic qualification. Preliminaries begin at 9 a.m. and finals at 4 p.m. each competition day. Tickets are $20, and children under 12 receive free admission.
