Veterans Day Flag Placement at Historic Evergreen Cemetery

Honor the men and women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces during a Veterans Day flag placement at Historic Evergreen Cemetery. Volunteers of all ages are invited to place American flags at the graves of more than 1,100 veterans across the cemetery’s 56 acres. Staff will assign sections to volunteer teams, making this a meaningful opportunity for families, community groups and coworkers to recognize those who served. Following the flag placement, a live concert at the Veterans Monument will commemorate America’s 250th anniversary. Volunteers should check in upon arrival and follow posted parking instructions.
