Exquisite Corpse Collaborative Art-a-thon and Fundraiser

Watch local artists create collaborative artwork during the Exquisite Corpse Art-a-thon, a 72-hour fundraiser supporting the Gainesville Fine Arts Association (GFAA). Inspired by a Surrealist art-making game from the 1920s, participating artists each have 24 hours to complete a section without seeing the full work created before them. Visitors can watch the creative process unfold October 26–28, followed by the completed artwork’s reveal during Artwalk Gainesville on October 30. The finished pieces will be available for viewing and bidding through November 21, with proceeds supporting participating artists and GFAA’s exhibitions and programs.
