French Film Festival Screening of “Nouvelle Vague”

See director Richard Linklater’s “Nouvelle Vague” during Gainesville’s French Film Festival. This tribute to French cinema revisits the making of Jean-Luc Godard’s groundbreaking 1960 film “Breathless,” a defining work of the French New Wave movement. Through a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of this influential film, Linklater celebrates the filmmakers, creative risks and artistic vision that helped reshape modern cinema. The screening takes place in the Reitz Union Chamber on the University of Florida campus.
