Author Talk with André R. Frattino and “We Are Pan”

Hear historical graphic novelist André R. Frattino discuss the research and writing behind “We Are Pan” at the Matheson History Museum. The graphic novel is based on the true story of Operation Pedro Pan, which brought more than 14,000 unaccompanied Cuban children to Miami in the early 1960s. Frattino will share the experiences of interviewing surviving Pedro Pans, living in America during those decades and transforming their stories into a comic shaped by his own approach to fatherhood.
