America 250: Independence Hall at the Municipal Building

Step into a recreation of Independence Hall during an America 250 program examining the documents and people that shaped the nation. The Municipal Building will be transformed to resemble the historic Philadelphia room where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were debated and adopted or signed. Historians will discuss the documents, the delegates and the significance of Independence Hall, with visitors invited to sit inside the recreated space and learn throughout the day.
