Museum Nights Celebrating Indigenous Peoples

Celebrate the contributions and heritage of Native Americans and Indigenous Peoples of the Americas during Museum Nights. Create a nature-inspired air-dry clay charm and beaded chain with the Harn MUSEs, and meet guest artists from the community. The evening features a dance demonstration led by Kiowa powwow performer Duane Whitehorse, followed by a student-led conversation. The program is presented in connection with Gainesville’s recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day and in collaboration with Indigenous and Native organizations across the community and UF campus.
