See the Buchholz Drama Department perform “Songs for a New World,” a contemporary musical by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown. Rather than following one continuous storyline, the production connects characters, songs and stories through moments of change and the choices that follow. The score blends musical theatre with pop, gospel, jazz and contemporary influences, giving the student cast opportunities to showcase individual voices and ensemble performances. Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 at the door.
