Veterans Day Celebration in High Springs

Honor the service and sacrifice of American military veterans during a Veterans Day celebration hosted by the High Springs Historical Society. The commemorative program features patriotic music and guest speaker Commander Robert Bradshaw, a retired U.S. Navy veteran. Doors open at 10 a.m. for fellowship and refreshments, followed by the ceremony at 11 a.m. The gathering recognizes veterans from all branches of the military and reflects on the history of Veterans Day, which originated as Armistice Day following World War I and became a national observance honoring American veterans of all wars.
