FREE PORCH SESSIONS

Nearly every Wednesday evening on the porch of Heartwood Soundstage in Gainesville, Florida, a pretty rare and special thing happens. Musicians and listeners gather with acoustic instruments and their voices and share the very human experience of singing and making music together, passing songs around a circle as the sunsets over Heartwood's deck. Since this tradition began in May of 2026, hundreds of visitors from different backgrounds with different music tastes and different musical skillsets have sat together on the porch singing, laughing, and sharing. Come experience it yourself, 6:30-9:30 p.m.! Bar opens at 6. Everyone is welcome. Jam is acoustic: no amplification & no percussion, please. Outdoors, Lawn chairs permitted. No outside beverages allowed. Free, All Ages. Drink specials at the bar.
