SUMMARY:Holiday Comedy “A Twistmas Carol” at the Hippodrome\, December 5-21
LOCATION:Hippodrome Theatre\, 25 SE 2nd Pl.\, Gainesville
DESCRIPTION:Laugh along with “A Twistmas Carol\,” a new holiday comedy by local actor and Hippodrome alumnus Kevin Rainsberger. Inspired by Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol\,” the production moves the familiar story into a retirement home for older actors\, creating a fresh setting for the holiday tale. The result is a clever and touching take on Scrooge’s story that puts an unexpected theatrical spin on a seasonal classic. Sponsored in part by Visit Gainesville\, Alachua County.\n\nSource: Visit Gainesville — https://www.visitgainesville.com/event/holiday-comedy-a-twistmas-carol-at-the-hippodrome-december-5-21/2026-12-06/
