DESCRIPTION:Join us for a morning bird walk around Devil’s Millhopper! We’ll begin with a leisurely stroll along the half-mile nature trail that circles the top of the sinkhole. For those interested\, we’ll then follow the boardwalk down into the limestone sinkhole\, which the park’s website describes as a “miniature rainforest.” 📍 Meeting Point: We'll meeting in the parking lot at 4732 Millhopper Road\, Gainesville\, FL 32653. 🕘 Start Time: 9:00 m ⏱ Duration: 1.5 hours 🌿 Trail Conditions: The trail offers an easy\, shaded walk\, but be prepared to climb stairs if you plan to use the boardwalk into the sinkhole. 💲 Parking: $4 fee per vehicle What to Bring: ☀️ Water\, sunglasses or a hat\, and sunscreen 🦟 Bug spray 🥾 Sneakers or hiking shoes 🔭 Binoculars or camera The Flock is Alachua Audubon's birding group for women who enjoy exploring the outdoors with a welcoming and safe community.
