DESCRIPTION:Join the Flock at Morningside Nature Center! Morningside is one of the area’s last remaining examples of fire-dependent longleaf pine woodland. More than six miles of trails wind through sandhill\, flatwoods\, cypress domes\, and restored native habitat—providing plenty of opportunities to find a variety of birds along the way. 📍 Meeting Point: Parking lot of Morningside Nature Center at 3540 E. University Ave.\, Gainesville\, FL 🕘 Start Time: 9:00 AM ⏱ Duration: 2 hours 🌿 Trail Conditions: The trails are relatively flat and typically dry\, although recent rain can create muddy spots\, so sturdy shoes or boots are recommended. Don’t forget the bug spray! 💲 Parking: No fee. What to Expect We’ll explore the trails in search of fall migrants and Morningside regulars.
